One of my favourite bands is a Canadian group Three Days Grace - with Adam Gontier as lead vocalist.

I have followed this band from the start of their musical career and find that there is always one song on each album that fits my mindset or helps me get through some hard $hit going on in my life.

A few weeks ago, I was listening to my playlist and their song RIOT came on.

As I began singing out loud in the car, for some reason, this time, I really honed in on the lyrics. Once the song was over, I played it again and listened to each lyric, line by line.

And something just clicked!

This world is a little messy right now.

This is creating some fear and concern for a lot of business owners.

Plus, as a women entrepreneur, I’m watching the state of the world and actions happening to the south.

But what do we do — we push forward. We persevere. We try new things. We meet new people. We ask for help (right?!).

So, I decided to create an opportunity for us to come together and start a RIOT of our own.

Where we can be ourselves and be business owners.

Where we can come together collectively to support each other.

So, I’d like to personally invite you to my first RIOT event.

This month’s theme is Smash Some $hit because I know there's a lot of pressure and stress on business owners right now.

Join me and fellow entrepreneurs to socialize, reconnect and smash our stress away … even if it’s for a few hours.
