The Importance of Celebrating Success: A Must for Entrepreneurs!
If you aim for nothing, you’ll hit it every time. ~ Unknown
Well, here we are - October! The start of Q4 for many small business owners. This thought may be a bit intimidating BUT the good news -- there are still 90 days left this year.
90 days for you to progress towards your Big Scary, Ambitious, Beautiful Goals.
90 days to make a difference, make a shift before 2025 arrives!
In the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship, it’s easy to get caught up in the never-ending drive to grow our businesses. As one milestone or goal is achieved, we are already thinking about the next. As entrepreneurs, we are often motivated by a thirst for success, constantly chasing that next milestone.
But what about celebrating all the successes we have achieved this year?
Celebrating our success along our journey is not a frivolous indulgence. This action needs to be seen as strategic and necessary for growth and future success.
Celebrating our hard work and success boosts our motivation, morale, and overall well-being. It has a direct impact on our mindset. Regardless of this year is coming to an end, celebrating success helps us to focus on attracting new opportunities and setting the stage for future growth.
So, instead of shutting down or ‘calling it’ on 2024, I challenge you to upgrade that way of thinking.
You started this business with some big, exciting, life changing goals. So why are you shying away now?
Today, I want you to think about the big and small milestones and successes you have achieved so far.
I want you to think about all the steps you took to get you where you are today. It was incremental, not immediate.
Now, allow yourself to pause and reset.
What are some small steps that would move you towards that seemingly insurmountable goal you so desperately dream of?
What is one small step you can do today? Tomorrow?
The truth is, that achieving our Big Scary, Ambitious, Beautiful Goals is a series of smaller steps that get us eventually to where we want to go.
And, with 90 days left in 2024, there’s lots of time to take action and make some of those steps forward.
So, rather than thinking it’s a lost cause, I challenge you to take those small steps forward. So that when 2025 comes, and you look back and where you have been, and where you are going, you can see the progress that these last 3 months can bring.
Remember …
Success is not solely defined by the destination but also by the milestones along the way.
