From pricing to taxes to mark-ups and profit/loss, many business owners feel lost or overwhelmed trying to manage the costs to start a business, much less how much they need to make each month to cover the business’ expenses.

I’ve worked with hundreds of business owners at different stages that have admitted to intentionally avoiding their bank statements or updating their spreadsheets.

Some will hire bookkeepers or accountants to ‘take care of it’ assuming that they will follow-up if the numbers don’t make sense.

But this is not the way to run a stable, financially successful business.

Your business needs you to understand the numbers.

You need to learn and understand the basics from market research and pricing to how many products/services you need to sell to cover your expenses. You are the leader of your business and money plays an important role in planning your growth and ultimately paying yourself.
